SDGE TEAS Program

The Transportation Electrification Advisory Services (TEAS) program by SDG&E provides no-cost advisory services to help businesses and organizations electrify their medium- and heavy-duty vehicle fleets.

Transportation electrification can be a complex process, but TEAS offers hands-on support at every stage—helping save time and providing access to key resources.

What does the program include?

The TEAS program offers support across four phases:

Fleet Electrification Planning:
Evaluation of electric vehicle options, charging strategies, costs, and environmental benefits.
Site Preparation (Pre-Energization):
Guidance on electric rate plans and infrastructure readiness.
Post-Energization Support:
Optimization of charging operations and staff training.
Emerging Technologies:
Assessment of advanced technologies and energy management systems.

Who can participate?

The program is available to SDG&E customers who operate medium- and heavy-duty vehicles or equipment, including:

  • Private businesses
  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Schools and school districts
  • Local governments and transit agencies
